MEMORIES OF LOW STATUS & DEGRADATION
Auto violation is a process to combat the ills of assimilating to some external structure of judgement and definition. Those Resentful Subjects we aspire to present this material to, go through their lives battling against perceived injustice. But this is not a battle that can be won, as it implicitly accepts an apparatus of “high” and “low”.
You will not find internal self harmony as long as you accept this.
You must be the only one to control the construction and perception of your Self. Self degradation began this process, putting your low status in your hands. Reconciliation helped you to once again find value in your Self following your degradation.
But there remains a conflict, before starting auto violation you had always been fighting against low status. In seeing your Self fittingly typified as a Lower Status Individual, you felt negative emotions. In reconciliation you were also able to find pride in low status.
You were able redefine low status and remove the presumption of being less than. In your new found pride you can begin to see that continuing to be defined as “low” allows the external sources you have successfully fended off to invade your Self again.
True self control can not allow for this.
Awareness and pride in your accomplishments is the last step to eschew low status entirely.
